Guy Quesnel is the friendly face at Elks Barber and is a third-generation barber operating this family business in New Westminster.

Guy (Elks Barber) is now working at GEM Barbershop located at 512 Sixth Street, New Westminster, BC.

Elks Barber is a classic or “old school” men’s barbershop, a welcoming and comfortable place. You will find a casual setting and wide-ranging conversation.

I know you will be getting ready to celebrate the Holidays.  Make sure to come to the shop in December.  We’ll get you trimmed up and looking your best.

Heads Up! – Christmas Schedule

I will take a few days off to join in the festivities.

The Barber Shop will be closed from December 25 to December 26, 2025; and again December 31 and January 1, and January 2, 2026.

Depending on how busy Elks Barber is on Saturday, December 27, 2025, and on Saturday, January 3, 2026, I may close early.

Give me a call if you’d like to visit Elks Barber on these days so we can make a plan.

Welcome to Elks Barber Shop in New Westminster Uptown.

Guy has been barbering for almost 40 years; yes, it is hard to tell since Guy looks so young.

Tradition is going strong at Elks Barber Shop! While the location has changed a couple of times, Elks Barber Shop has been operating and serving in New Westminster for almost 60 years. Guy Quesnel has been running this family business since 1994 taking over from his father and grandfather.

Elks Barber Shop offers classic or “old school” barbering, a warm and casual atmosphere, and friendly conversation.
